December 11th, 2011

Please contact me for details and to schedule a quick & simple mini session.
For some reason many emails from you have been getting bounced - If you have not heard back from me please leave a message through facebook. Hopefully the communication issue will get resolved soon.

See! One person CAN make a difference! So many fundraising events are happening because of this one courageous and strong person. My daughter’s school is participating. If you would like to donate to cancer research you can do so here: Terry Fox 2011
This was a Summer I pushed to the max! I took in all the adventures thrown upon me with my daughters. Today is the first day of school - time to be responsible for editing etc. I thank you for your patience if you are awaiting your images. Next week will be all about editing and getting caught up.
Here is my facebook album of my latest mountain adventure with my girls and wonderful brother. Check it out
Wow, did I ever misjudge the extent of impact chemo would have on my life - emotionally and physically! Yes, it has been incredibly challenging keeping going some days, but being surrounded by wonderful people sure helps!
I am nearing completion of the galleries started before Christmas - yes, I am giving LOTS to thank you for your patience. I am hopeful they will be finished within the next 2-3 weeks (although my 3rd round of the nasty stuff is next week already!) I am uploading to the secure password protected online galleries as well as mailing out DVD’s for your printing pleasure. As always, if you prefer me to handle the printing and canvas wraps I can.
I continue to try an stay as active as possible - especially with my daily photo project. I have some teaching and shooting gigs lined up for my ‘good’ times. Come Spring, I should be back to normal(ish) - apparently radiation is not as brutal to the body as this particular concoction of chemo (thankful to have it though!)
Happy 2011 to you all
As many people know, I have been thrust into a challenging, albeit, temporary situation. I feel very fortunate to live in this great Country and in this time. I have been diagnosed with Cancer, had surgery and am undergoing chemotherapy - all within a short chaotic time frame. The health system here is absolutely incredible - everyone has treated me so well.
Obviously, this has effected my ability to work efficiently. I thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
To motivate me to keep shooting, learning and to get out of bed I am undertaking a personal project where I will (try to) shoot and post a photo every day. Yes, some days may be missed, and others will be of my big toe! Here is the link. Check it out every once in awhile and leave a comment so I do not give up on it.
Wishing you a wonderful 2011.
