Summer Solstice Flight

I enjoyed the opportunity to photograph the first sunrise of Summer in Alberta. Our adventure began at 3:30 AM. It was a live podcast which included the producer in the back, the pilot and myself crammed into the front.

The shoot had numerous obstacles including: shooting through propellers, scratchy plexiglas windows, reflections of the dashboard, flashing red lights and of course, being unable to move much.

Here is my shadow selfie.
